Johnny's Po-Boys has held its corner in the French Quarter since 1950 — longer than any other family-owned po-boy shop in the neighborhood. Three-quarters of a century of Quarter foot traffic, brass bands, and French bread has passed through this door, and the counter still runs the same way it always has.
This isn't a concept or a chain outpost. It's a family business, in the same part of town, doing the same job it set out to do in 1950: dress a proper po-boy and hand it across the counter.
